No Group Number on Insurance Card Independence Blue Cross
Save money with your IBX Care Card
Your IBX Care Card is a convenient way to save money on eligible over-the-counter (OTC) items like pain relievers, cough medicine, toothpaste, and supplements purchased from participating retailers.
How it works
Your IBX Care Card comes preloaded with a quarterly balance. Your card will be automatically reloaded every quarter (every three months). Be sure to spend your allowance each quarter as any unused balance will not roll over to the next quarter. Please keep your card in a safe location, as you may use the same card for as long as you remain a member of a participating plan.
You must activate your IBX Care Card before you can use it. Visit OTCNetwork.com or call 1-833-552-4729 (TTY: 711) to activate your card. You will be asked to enter your IBX Care Card number and the last four digits of your Independence Blue Cross member ID, which is found on your health insurance card. Please note: You may begin using your card the month your Independence Blue Cross coverage becomes effective.
You can use your IBX Care Card to buy OTC items at participating retailers. Once activated, simply swipe your card at the register and select credit — no pin is needed!
Shopping is even easier with the OTC Network® app. Download the mobile app and check your balance, find participating retailers, and discover online and in-store discounts. Learn more.
